Hourly slots are available from 9am to 5pm. Standard rates apply Monday–Saturday. Sundays, Bank Holidays and short-notice bookings may carry an additional charge. For ceremonies inside Kent, please do not enter a postcode in the mileage question.

When we got married, finding dependable witnesses was more stressful than it should have been. One of ours nearly arrived late, and we remember exactly how that uncertainty felt.

Need A Witness UK was created to give other couples the reassurance we wished we had: a professional, punctual and friendly service with real human communication from the first request to the ceremony itself.

Every booking is personally reviewed. We do not believe a wedding should feel like an automated transaction, and we will never pressure you into photographs or extras you do not want.

Everything you may want to know before booking

Do you attend wedding venues?
We currently attend registry office ceremonies for witness signatures and optional photographs.
Can you provide one witness or two?
Yes. One professional witness costs £100, and a second witness can be added for £50.
Do you take photographs?
Only when requested. We can use your phone free of charge, or you can choose the photo and video add-on for £30.
Is my booking confirmed immediately?
No. We personally review every request first. Your booking is secured once it has been accepted and the required payment has been received.
Can I book within 24 hours?
The online form does not accept bookings within 24 hours. For an emergency request, contact us directly and we will let you know whether we can help.
Do Sundays and Bank Holidays cost more?
Yes. Sundays include a premium surcharge and UK Bank Holidays are charged at double the standard rate. The amount is made clear before payment.
